About this course
While GUIs can take away a lot of complexity in our everyday tasks, they sometimes also hinder us from accomplishing tasks as efficient as possible. The command line interface (CLI) has been around since the very early days of computers and so have a lot of tools thaht run on it, which we can utilize to improve our development workflow. In this course we'll go over the basics, such as navigating on the CLI, reading and creating files as well as using pipes and loops to create re-usable bash scripts. The course is tailored for modern Unix / MacOS systems and syntax on Windows might vary. More lessons will be added as over time to cover more common CLI tools and advanced scripts.
